Mat Ishbia, Phoenix Suns CAN’T AFFORD Brian Gregory To Fail

Mat Ishbia took a massive risk with the Phoenix Suns

Mat Ishbia made a very risky decision by promoting Brian Gregory to be the Phoenix Suns new GM, after spending a short amount of time in an NBA front office role. While the jury is still out as to what Gregory will be able to do at the helm of one of the most disappointing teams in the NBA, it’s clear that when you take a risk like this, it HAS to pay off.

The Suns sit before an offseason that involves a coaching hire, potential Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal trades along with a CRUCIAL draft, and fans are hesitant to trust someone with no experience in the role he just got hired to fulfill. PHNX Suns gives their thoughts on the hire after the dust has settled, discuss what the new GM’s first moves HAVE to be to gain trust from the fans and read some of the fallout from social media regarding the wild hire.

They also react to the latest Book 1 “Valley” color way that might be Devin Booker and Nike’s best one yet, talk some playoff action as the first round draws to a close and drafts NBA players they would want as part of a 100 vs Gorilla fight.
