Arizona’s Tommy Lloyd is no stranger to a difficult non-conference schedule. Infact, Lloyd has begun to become known amongst fans for bringing marquee matchups to fans across the country in the non-conference. The 2024-25 schedule is the most difficult schedule in Arizona basketball history according to college basketball reference. Lloyd is not stopping there, the Wildcats currently have the following teams on the docket for the 2025-26 season, Florida, UConn, Auburn, UCLA, and Alabama. Last night, it was announced by CBS’ Jon Rothstein that the Wildcats have added San Diego State University to their non-conference schedule. Will 2025-26 feature the most difficult schedule in the history of Arizona men’s basketball? How can Tommy Lloyd push through this schedule into March and April of 2026?
