Arizona’s Lute Olson is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential college basketball coaches of all time. His time at Arizona is remembered for the 1997 championship, his leadership, and his 34 players he helped reach the NBA during his time at Arizona.
Olson produced 55 NBA talents overall during his time coaching at the D-1 level. It took Olson 34 seasons of coaching to rack up those numbers. The Wildcats are currently led by Tommy Lloyd who has made a name for himself as one of the hottest coaching talents in the college ranks.
So far Lloyd has produced 5 NBA products. Only 2 of those 5 are players that Lloyd recruited himself. Christian Koloko, Bennedict Mathurin, and Dalen Terry were recruited by Sean Miller during the tail end of his tenure at Arizona. This it seems that Carter Bryant will be the only name adding to Lloyd’s Tally.
