Dillon Brooks’ career-high 40 points paced the Phoenix Suns as they earned one of their more impressive wins of the 2025-26 season by defeating the East-leading Detroit Pistons, 114-96.

Despite missing Devin Booker and Jalen Green, the Suns fired on all cylinders as Grayson Allen added 24 points and Collin Gillespie battled through a hand injury to finish with 16 points.
With the win, the Suns move to 29-19 on the season, putting them at 10 games above .500 as January comes to a close. Defensively, Phoenix held its opponent under 100 points for the fourth time in January, forcing All-Star starter Cade Cunningham to shoot 8 of 22 from the field.
