In Jalen Green’s first game back from a three-game absence, the Phoenix Suns cruised to a dominant 126-113 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, who entered the night on a five-game win streak.
Jalen Green Injury Update: Suns guard bruises hip in win over Cavs
Green took a hard spill in the third quarter but in 16 minutes of action, finished with 11 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field, including 3 of 7 from beyond the arc.
Dillon Brooks continued his recent tear, scoring a game-high 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field and the Suns shot a red-hot 23 of 48 from 3-point range. Phoenix’s defense held All-Star hopeful Donovan Mitchell to 16 points, while Cleveland committed 22 turnovers that led to 36 points.
With the win, the Suns move to 30-19, an impressive 11 games above .500 to close the month of January.
