POSTGAME: Arizona LOSES WAR With Texas Tech As Koa Peat Exits Early With Injury

The nightmare week continues as the previously undefeated #1 Wildcats drop their SECOND consecutive game in conference play to Texas Tech. Concern however revolves around the status of star freshman Koa Peat and the injury that ended his game. No update on the severity of said injury just yet, but it doesn’t look like Peat will be available for Arizona’s upcoming game against BYU.

Arizona Notes vs Texas Tech

The frontcourt battle was box office as senior Tobe Awaka carried the Cats with a classic double-double performance and Red Raiders star JT Toppin reminded the conference why he was last year’s Big 12 Player of the Year. This is unfamiliar territory for Arizona who sustains its first two losses in back-to-back fashion, but there’s not time to waist with BYU coming to town on Wednesday. Is the sky really falling?
