The Phoenix Suns did not have enough Monday night as they came up short in a brutal 120-112 road loss to the Boston Celtics.
Suns blow 4th quarter lead, get blitzed by celtics
After the Suns built a three-point lead with 3:48 remaining, the Celtics closed the game on a 12-1 run to take home the eight-point win.
Devin Booker led the Suns with 40 points on 15-of-24 shooting but also had a game-high seven turnovers. Booker’s scoring was outdone by Celtics All-Star Jaylen Brown, who scored 41 points thanks in large part to a career-high 19-of-21 outing from the charity stripe.
While Phoenix showed plenty of positives, it was again plagued by a poor fourth quarter, meaning there was no shortage of teachable moments in the loss.
