The Phoenix Suns hit a new low Saturday, losing a season-high fifth-consecutive game to a Milwaukee Bucks team without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis, among others.
Suns fall for fifth straight time, lose to tanking bucks
After holding Milwaukee to 15 points in the first frame, Phoenix was outscored, 93-79, in the final three frames to lose by three.
Phoenix was shorthanded itself, taking the floor without Grayson Allen, Dillon Brooks, Amir Coffey, Haywood Highsmith, Royce O’Neale and Mark Williams, but it still had its duo of Devin Booker and Jalen Green. That duo, however, combined to score 38 points on 13-of-34 shooting, and could not make enough plays in the clutch.
This losing streak drops the Suns to 39-32 on the season with just 11 games to go, including a meeting with the Toronto Raptors Sunday. PHNX Suns talks through the disappointment of what went wrong.
