Williams, 24, appeared in 60 games in his first season in a Suns uniform, but was notably unavailable at the season’s most crucial juncture, missing five of six postseason games due to a foot injury.

Beyond questions around the value of the contract Williams earned with his performance are questions of if his long-term future could and should be in Phoenix.
