The Phoenix Suns’ roster may look very similar to last year’s but they had a busy offseason.
Debating Contract Extensions For Key Suns
In addition to re-signing the trio of Collin Gillespie, Jordan Goodwin and Mark Williams, they pulled off trades to draft Koa Peat and bring Miles Bridges to the Valley. After rounding things out with the free-agent additions of Luke Kennard and Pat Spencer, are the Suns done?
While no more outside help may be enlisted, Phoenix now faces its next set of decisions — a set of decisions that revolves around potential contract extensions for a quartet of players. Bridges, in addition to Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green and Oso Ighodaro, are all eligible to ink deals that will keep them in Phoenix beyond the next few seasons. But will they?
On today’s PHNX Suns show, Gil and Erik get in debate mode while discussing the likelihood of the above extensions and what those deals could look like, with each of them taking turns playing agent and general manager. Who will get locked in? What will they earn? Follow the show: @PHNX_Suns, @ErikRuby, @GilMcGregor_, @StephenPG3 and @FreckledMamba!
