The Kelsey Plum era in Phoenix is out to an ideal start as she did her part to help lead the Mercury to a 106-101 victory over the Chicago Sky Monday.

Kelsey Plum Shines In Debut, Mercury Outlast Sky

In her first game in over a month, Plum finished with 20 points (on 6-of-10 shooting) to go along with four assists in just 20 minutes of action.

It was much more than just Plum, though, as she was one of three Mercury players with standout performances. Kahleah Copper led the way, pacing Phoenix with a game-high 31 points on 10-of-19 shooting while Alyssa Thomas turned in the 21st regular-season triple-double of her career with 19 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists in the contest.

Monday’s game gave a glimpse into what the vision of this trio could look like. They made plays down the stretch to earn the win and move to 12-19 on the season.
