It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year.

Phoenix Suns training camp officially got underway Monday and PHNX Suns was there in full force, with Gil and Stephen on hand for the media availability portion of the first session.

Suns’ Training Camp Day 1: Booker, Green Forming Backcourt 2.0

On the heels of media day, the focus on Monday was growth and first impressions as the work begins.

Yesterday, Devin Booker spoke on an intentional focus to be more assertive as a scorer and today, Jalen Green spoke on his focus on growing as a playmaker.

The takeaway is that Phoenix’s backcourt might operate differently than it did last year.

How do we feel about these changes in approach? We’ll discuss that in addition to some league-wide news on today’s show. Follow us @PHNX_Suns, @GilMcGregor_, @StephenPG3 and @FreckledMamba!
