The Phoenix Suns hit the ground running as the preseason got underway, and their starting lineup turned heads with how they looked together.

Suns’ Starting 5 Shows Potential In First PReseason Game

While it only saw one half of action, Phoenix’s first unit complemented one another well, building a 19-point lead before the break.

Perhaps the most encouraging takeaway from the preseason opener was the play of Miles Bridges, who appeared to be a seamless fit with his eight point, five rebounds and four assists in 15 minutes of action.

Bridges scored the Suns’ first seven points and the rest of the starting lineup followed suit, with key rotational players stepping up as well.

Is Bridges the perfect fit? While it’s early, his chemistry with Devin Booker, Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and others is encouraging, if nothing else.
