We are a legit Super Bowl contending team and Maxx’s emergence this year was not just a sign of his growth as a receiver but also Kyler’s growth in playing “on time” and taking easier throws rather than pushing the ball into danger. Outside of the tipped ball against the Vikings, all of Maxx’s catches were either quick stop routes, or as Kyler’s check down. As such, it’s essential to get someone who can fill his role to keep Kyler comfortable with being on time. Day 3 picks while nice in theory should be not be keeping this team from trying to acquire a key piece at TE. I’d even be willing to move 2023’s 4th rounder.

Jonnu Smith
OJ Howard (who has vastly improved as a blocker)
Evan Engram (Not the most polished blocker but doesn’t get enough credit for his effort levels AND adds a receiving element)
Kyle Rudolph (super similar to Maxx)
Hayden Hurst
Mo Allie-Cox

ALL would be welcomed
