Craig – 5 forwards had more pp last night than either Keller or Schmaltz. Only Hayton had less ice time than Schmaltz. I thought both Keller and Schmaltz looked frustrated and the body language didn’t look good. Anything going on there?

Love the 11F/7D approach. It not only gives you more flexibility as Bear said, but it also saves you from being screwed if a defenseman goes down with an injury. Surprised more teams don’t go with that in the Playoffs, especially when there’s usually one forward only getting 7 minutes a night.

Craig, have you had a chance to ask Andre if the recent increase in “too many men on the ice” calls can be attributed to the 11/7 lineup strategy?

BTW, I do like the 11/7 too. It might also be a good way to ease a young defender like Soderstrom into the lineup if and when Chychrun is traded.

Spent the last two nights watching the Roadrunners lose to the Reign. There is definitely a trade for Chychrun to be made if Byfield is part of it. Other than that, not much on the farm to be excited about. Adam Cracknell was the best player on the ice for Tucson and he’s 37 years old. Those who are looking for Soderstrom to help; he is the definition of soft.

Craig…. WE need a tour of the annex. One outdoor shot doesn’t do much for us considering all the guff coming from other fanbases.

Hopefully you can get one soon.
