The Diamondbacks' World Series run is now a month old, and the MLB offseason is in full swing.
So far, it has been fairly boring. But there have been a few moves here and there.
Aaron Nola, for example, got more than $170 million to stay with the Philadelphia Phillies. The St. Louis Cardinals signed a trio of starting pitchers in their mid-to-upper 30s. The Atlanta Braves traded seemingly half of their 40-man roster to the Chicago White Sox for a single reliever coming off a 6.79 ERA season. (Okay, it was really only five players.) The Diamondbacks made a notable move as well, acquiring much-needed third base help in a trade with the Seattle Mariners.
