98th Duel in the Desert evokes memories of Territorial Cup's best Arizona State-Arizona matchups, moments

Every generation believes that the events of its lifetime are the most significant in human history. So it goes with the Territorial Cup matchup between Arizona State and Arizona. I have already read or seen half a dozen accounts either calling this the biggest Duel in the Desert for ASU, or the biggest game in Territorial Cup history.
Pardon the objection, but there have been other Territorial Cup games just as significant as this one, and a few with arguably greater significance. The game dates to Thanksgiving Day in 1899. That's a lot of history with which to contend.
