Arizona Baseball Loses to Coastal Carolina in College World Series

A dribbler here, a blooper there, and the Wildcats hot streak comes to an end as Coastal Carolina beats Arizona Baseball by a score of 7-4 in the opening 2025 College World Series game. With the loss the Wildcats fall into the loser’s bracket where they will play the loser of the Louisville vs. Oregon State game. Owen Kramkowski battled out of a shaky 2nd inning, but ultimately settled in for 5 strong frames. Star player Mason White hit a solo shot to make it eight homers in his last eleven games. It proved just short though as the Cats lose by a razor thin margin in the end. PLUS, college baseball expert Monty Taylor drops in to give us analysis from Omaha and his thoughts on the Chip Hale’s first CWS game.
