Arizona Coyotes fumble strong first period, can’t solve Igor Shesterkin and the New York Rangers

Clayton Keller kept the NHL’s 3rd-ranked power play alive but Igor Shesterkin and the New York Rangers capitalized on mistakes and took down the Arizona Coyotes 4-1 at Madison Square Garden. The Yotes outshot the Rangers 17-4 in the first period but it was all downhill from here. Connor Ingram stopped 23 of 27 shots and was no match for the Rangers’ offense.
