Arizona Coyotes roll over Washington Capitals for 5th straight win

The Arizona Coyotes rolled over the Washington Capitals 6-0 for the team’s 5th straight win. The Yotes have now won five straight games against the five most recent Stanley Cup winners. Connor Ingram, who was named the NHL’s first star of the week today, stopped all 26 shots he faced to earn the shutout. Logan Cooley, Michael Carcone and Jason Zucker had one goal each, Nick Schmaltz had two and Nick Bjugstad scored a shorthanded goal. The Coyotes scored five goals in the first period, the team’s most goals in a first period since 2013.
