Arizona Coyotes take step in process of building new arena

The Arizona Coyotes have issued a letter of intent to purchase 41 acres in Mesa for the team’s new arena. The site is one of several still under consideration. The team is looking at other East Valley sites in Mesa, Scottsdale and Phoenix.
