Arizona concluded the 2024 season with a 4-8 record (2-7 in the Big 12) and it’s safe to say that the Wildcats fell well short of their lofty preseason expectations. 
When Brent Brennan came over as head coach from San Jose State after Jedd Fisch left for the Washington job, he stepped into some big shoes. The Cats had just wrapped up a 10-3 season in 2023 fresh off of a 38-24 victory over then-No. 12 Oklahoma in the Alamo Bowl which left Arizona as the No. 11 ranked team in the nation.
