Arizona ROBBED BY REFS vs. BYU As Late Bailout Whistle Loses It For Wildcats

In what was an extremely entertaining back-and-forth basketball game, the show was stolen by referee Tony Padilla, who blew his whistle on Trey Townsend with 3 seconds left in the game. BYU’s leading scorer Richie Saunders nailed both free throws to lead BYU to the win, 96-95 in McKale Center. The Wildcats drop their third home game of the season, this time in tragic fashion. Caleb Love showed out tonight, scoring a game-high 27 points and nailing four 3-pointers, including one late, but was robbed of an and-one foul by the aforementioned Padilla in what turned out to be a game-changing call. On the one hand, Arizona showed offensive prowess Wildcats fans haven’t seen all season, but it came in the team’s worst defensive output in some time.
