Solomon Asante reunion up next for Phoenix Rising after Arturo Rodriguez brace

A former face came back to haunt Phoenix Rising on their trip to face Charleston Battery.

Arturo Rodriguez, who played with the team between 2021-22, bagged himself a brace as the hosts came out on top 4-1 on the night in Rising’s first league loss since April.

Now, it’s back to the Jägermeister Cup, and Phoenix will see another familiar face: Solomon Asante, and his new League One side, Texoma FC.
