The Big 12 Just Got EASIER for Arizona Basketball After Darrion Williams’s TRANSFER from Texas Tech

Th Wildcats Men’s basketball team has built an impressive recruiting class behind the efforts of Tommy Lloyd, Jack Murphy, and company. While Arizona is building, other programs are trying to replace their most impactful player. Texas Tech had an impressive 2024 season. When healthy Texas Tech was one of the more dangerous teams in America.

A large part of that success was Darrion Williams. Willams, like many other college basketball stars, entered the transfer portal and the NBA draft simultaneously. Recently, Williams removed himself from the NBA draft pool but remained in the transfer portal. Williams has just committed to NC State in lieu of a return to Lubbock. What does this mean for Arizona’s Big 12 title hopes?
