BREAKING: Arizona State and Utah officially apply for formal membership to the Big 12

It’s official: Arizona State and Utah have officially applied for formal membership to the Big 12 Conference, per Pete Thamel. There’s a call tonight with the Big 12’s presidents and chancellors to discuss their membership. Arizona applied and was approved yesterday. This comes following reports of Oregon and Washington set to be invited to the Big 10.
