BREAKING: Arizona State will self impose a bowl ban for the 2023 football season

Arizona State confirms the reports that it will self impose a bowl ban for the 2023 season in light of the ongoing NCAA investigation. The investigation stemmed from alleged NCAA violations under former coach Herm Edwards and his staff. With that said, it’ll be Kenny Dillingham’s staff and players that are pushed for actions made by the previous Sun Devil regime. The athletic program opted not to impose a bowl ban in 2022 and athletic director Ray Anderson allowed Edwards to remain the head coach after the investigation begun.
