Arizona Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon isn't interested in looking ahead. When asked about the team's first-place standing and the reality of being in the playoff hunt at the midpoint of the season, Gannon went into full-on coach mode.
“There is no playoff chatter in our building,” Gannon said Monday. “That’s an external factor that we are not worried about; our record, who’s where, all this and that “There’s so much ball to be played. Winning behavior would be putting all your energy and focus into Chicago and what you can do right now. That’s what they’re doing.”
Gannon may not want to talk about it, but we're going to talk about playoffs.
