Connor Ingram set an NHL record for the most saves in a first ever career shutout in his 47-save performance against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Clayton Keller scored a filthy shootout goal to cap it off for the Yotes. The Coyotes now have points in seven straight games, putting the tank in jeopardy.
Connor Ingram deserves his flowers tonight and he got them. The 25-year-old goalie has been playing consistently and has been a great second option to goalie Karel Vejmelka. The Coyotes’ goalies have kept Arizona competitive and put the race for the first overall pick and Connor Bedard at risk.
