Great coverage and thank you Craig.
I think the team is totally missing out on coverage of their games by many of the fans, particularly older fans not being able to watch them because they are not on TV.
I know there are a few who have figured it out and good for them. I live in a retirement community where the TV is part of the rent.
The entire community is on DISH. I haven’t seen a Coyotes or Dbacks game on TV in three years.
I know it’s my responsibility to figure out “ streaming “ and “ fire sticks” or whatever they are called but I haven’t.
I guess I don’t understand the TV business model here. I think it’s. “ We need your business but you are going to have to figure out what it is we have to sell and how to get it”
That must be a Carey school of business philosophy. Kelley School at IU wouldn’t teach that!!!

Chychrun: He probably wants traded. It reminds me of that confederate general who watching his men flee to the rear after Picketts Charge admonished his aide who wanted to stop them “ Let them go. It’s best that they save themselves from this slaughter”
Look forward to your articles. Thanks

The TV contract dispute is really a shame but the Coyotes are not solely to blame (Bally Sports should lower their asking price of the TV providers or the providers should pony up and add on a local sports fee to your package) nor are they alone in that sort of fight. I just moved to Colorado and the Avalanche and Nuggets have the same TV drama. Dish and Xfinity (the cable company) do not carry the Altitude Sports channel. As a result, the majority of people within the metro area cannot see those games on TV. Even on the Nuggets run to what WCF last year, most could not watch. That got some law makers upset and they wanted to do something about it but then they realized that this is a private party capitalism issue.

Luckily I am now out of the Coyotes service area so an ESPN+ subscription has allowed me to see every game of the rebuild.

The fans are ultimately caught between two greedy entities (TV rights holders and TV providers) without much hope for resolution.

Sinclair and their greed is not helping anyone.

Love the way Keller is playing this year. He has really elevated his game. On the other hand, Chychrun not so much. When he is skating forward he is a dynamic threat. When he is not, he is hesitant and seems to process slowly. That old hockey IQ question seems to keep coming back. If I were GMBA I would definitely listen to offers. And for Hayton.

I wonder if Coyotes are keeping Kessel around just because of his consecutive games streak. Maybe no team wants him!! I don’t think he hustles. Young guys could use playing time. Any thoughts
