Thank you Craig for your coverage of this team.
I always look forward to the articles.
I have one more day to figure out whether I want to continue being a season ticket holder.
I guess it’s 50/50. I’ll know late tomorrow night.
I didn’t go to a single game this year. I sold every ticket but listened to Heeter every game and never missed or failed to respond to any of your articles.
When I’m all in, I’m all in 100%, whether it’s my own sport which few athletes trained as long or as hard as me or adopting a hockey team which I did 10 or 11 years.
I won’t apologize for being an obsessive athlete or fan.
From the first year I saw it wasn’t a Glendale problem but a fan excuse problem for the lack of success at GRA.
This team has more lives than a cat. Someday I hope the fans of this sport, in this city knows how lucky they were/are at having them here.
Thank you Craig.

In what I am sure was a tough year to cover the team you did well by us. Thanks for all you do. Get some rest it is going to be a busy off season… I don’t recommend too many vacations without internet and laptop for you will be busy.

Thanks Craig for the excellent (always!) coverage of our team! I am looking forward to next season and will be cheering again from Montana. I miss seeing our boys live but I haven’t missed a game on tv this season. It’s an exciting albeit, stressful time for us fans but I have faith in GMBA and that the Tempe city counsel will get it done!

I’ve said it before: Tourigny is a wizard. I couldn’t be happier with a coaching staff. Despite the record, they overperformed. “The eye test” is always a suspicious metric, but the team was visibly better this year. Passes and playmaking in general were more confident, if often ill-advised. More controlled zone entries and less dump-and-chase. More effective puck battles when D&C was employed. Above all a really remarkable lack of quit. Time and again the team would look like bumbling circus clowns one minute, only to tear off the mask and look like The Rock clearing the ring a few minutes later. This last game at GRA was one of those. Absolutely brilliant sendoff, reminding everyone there of the best of times. Walking to the car we could still hear people howling outside the building. The cranky retiree building near the new site is just gonna have to deal with that.

I booed because they’re already raising some season tickets by 20% before everyone has had a chance to have their selection day.

As a reminder to all Yotes fans as the playoffs start.. the sooner the Avs and Canes lose the higher our other two first round picks are. We are now all Bruins and Preds fans for the next two weeks. If both lose in round 1 those picks would be 19 and 20 overall – which is a huge difference from picks 30 and 32. So something to root for in these playoffs (besides rooting against the Kings and Canadian teams)
