The site south of the Pavilions seems almost too good to be true.

Glad to have you back Craig.
I’m so involved in my own sport again and with not having the areas pro teams on my tv, I gave up my dbacks season ticket but still have my Coyotes ticket.
I hope they announce soon.
I won’t go to any games unless something is announced.
I hope it’s well before September.
I hope in July.
Thank you for keeping us all up to date.

Bass pro shop 13 miles
Pavilions 16 miles
Not bad!

That Mesa location is one I thought would be a good idea before the Tempe site came up. The location and the proximity to the freeway makes a lot of sense. There’s already a ton of parking south and southeast of that property with all the existing businesses there. And I think (just by using some Google Earth tools and some math) that the property is slightly larger than the Tempe property.

As someone who lives close to the Mesa Riverview location, I would love it. However, that site would need some massive work since the current company has dug very deep into the land. However, probably not nearly as much work as a landfill!
