One of your best analytical pieces Craig and thank you.
I’ve noticed Kerfoot out there the most and I am surprised at the speed and puck handling skills of O’Brien.
I don’t think what they are doing with Cooley is any different than what they did with Keller.
I do recall he may have had a Roadrunner jersey for a very brief time?… but he was a Coyote to stay.
I wish we would have had more young impact players as other teams have.
I have never bought in to that cooking, overcooking development stuff and I think LV and the Kracken make a strong case for my opinion.
The franchise knows it doesn’t have the vocal fan base to make demands and can take their time.
That’s just an opinion! From a casual fan who hopes he can get back to a more fanatical place.
That being said, my ticket agent Lindsay Kray, says that I was her first season ticket holder to renew.
I did that on Friday.
2024-25 has been purchased.
Plus parking.
10th year or so…the highlights:
– won the 50/50, two times.
– won the only Coyote 5k. Since there was only one, that makes me the course record holder.(ha) I have written in my estate plan, my obituary. The only thing my obituary will say is who I was married to and all my best running times. That’s it. I have added the fact that I was a course record holder ( I know, ha)
But when I’d go to Lot G, after that race and park my car for a game and see the taped arrows in the Lot still there showing runners where to go….the pride I felt!
– I caught 6 pucks that went over the glass.
– I sponsored a Christmas party for my family every year by buying a suite for the game closest to Christmas….unforgettable.
( I sat in my seat in Row A and looked up at my family.)
– Got my mom a ride on the Zamboni on her 93rd birthday.
I’m a loner who is very thankful for the day when desperately looking for relief of watching a wife die very slowly, tried a hockey game.
And it helped me through.
I am glad to be the first renewal.
I’m afraid if the new arena is to be built in Scottsdale though, it will come to an end.
I’ll never to the AJ to Glendale type thing again!
Never have missed reading your articles, I was so outraged at your “ Athletic” experience that I bought around a dozen of your substack subscriptions.. family and friends all over were reading your articles
