I wonder how many young Coyote players get over baked by that curious philosophy of baking ( languishing longer) in some minor league.
It seems every team have these instant impact players that do start rebuilds.
We do t seem to allow for this? I’m no hockey expert though that’s for sure. Just a fan.
The philosophy of “ let them bake longer” in Tucson or some other minor league team may be misguided?

I dunno. I tend to agree with that philosophy, based on what I have seen.

Bunting has admitted himself that he wasn’t ready for the NHL. He hadn’t fully committed to what he needed to do.

It’s kind of amazing these guys can have such skill in the strength of their games, and could pop off to score 10 in 20 like Bunting did, but not fully committing to the seemingly innocuous stuff means they never would be able to get into the position to show off that skill in the NHL when up against players of real caliber. Just interesting that once that light goes on in the head on the other stuff needed to get him to the NHL that it opened the flood gates to show off where his real skill laid.
