Question: Didn’t they make changes to the lottery rules recently to prevent teams that have one it multiple times from being eligible for a 3rd win a recent period of time? Just wondering if this would disqualify NJ and Buffalo from winning should they be eligible again???

It only counts starting this season though. You can only win the lottery twice in 5 years now I believe and it’s only the first and second pick that are lottery now as opposed to top 3. So if the Coyotes finish last in the league, the worst pick they could get is 3rd overall.

So Buf and NJ are eligible to get it this year? That would be tough if either of them get a 3rd #1.

Yes, both of those teams are eligible to get #1. The other change is that teams can only move up 10 spots instead of every non-playoff team able to win the #1 pick.

Should probably post this on the doors at GRA.

Don’t root for your team to trade good players? Outside of Chychrun, and maybe Crowse…who else is good?

“Don’t root too hard for the tank because you’re a Coyotes fan. You’re getting the third pick in the draft anyway.” Craig out here crushing hopes and dreams

One more tankathon do: Root for Montreal to win a few more games, but not many. Just enough to have the 21st best (11th worst) record in the league.

You missed one, do bet against the Coyotes. Personally, I like the 60 minute line, and often parlay it with the over, especially with Hutton in net. This does get tough in the arena, as it is hard to not vocalize your rooting interest in your bets instead of the game.

One more bonus do, take advantage of low ticket prices! As this team slides further down the rankings, you can sometimes buy tickets same day from certain outlets in the low teens!

Thank you Craig. I don’t trust this franchise. I’m not going to stop being a season ticket holder but I’m selling most tickets. I was going to go to Saturdays game to watch the new team but found a 10k I wanted to run at the last minute.
When I’m convinced the team is going to be here in the future and there is a plan in place that insures that, it’ll be worth it again to go…
I consider the money I spend on a season ticket a charitable contribution in recognition of the great time this fan had at the 300 games I did attend.
It wasn’t about good hockey or watching other teams stars. It’s about investing in our community with the hopes of success on the ice. If the plan is, success in Houston in several years, that’s NOT worth the drive.
I still hope to go to 10 or 15 games…
Hopefully we will know soon whether or not they aren’t BSing us.
Thanks again and look forward to each article.
