Danny Manning speaks on Steve Nash, Charles Barkley and Time With Phoenix Suns

Danny Manning, 1st pick in the 1988 NBA draft, 1988 NCAA title winner, and Former Phoenix Suns player joins PHNX Suns‘ Gil McGregor to speak about his time spent as teammates with Charles Barkley and Steve Nash, and his favorite stop of his 15-year NBA career.

In the conversation, Manning discusses his 1994 decision to sign with the Suns as a free agent as well as the highlights of his tenure, including the 1996-97 teams climb from an 0-13 start to qualify for the NBA Playoffs.

Manning also discussed his Sixth Man of the Year campaign in Phoenix, the final stages of his career, and his transition into becoming a coach, a title he’s held for the past 20 years.
