Diamondbacks monthly mailbag: Is re-signing Christian Walker a necessity?

If you're like me, you spent far too many hours this weekend browsing "aurora Arizona" search results on Twitter and attempting to block out the obnoxious corner streetlight so that you could see the northern lights from your Desert Southwest neighborhood.
I should have known that it would be a losing battle.
Unfortunately, I was not among the multitudes of Americans who caught a rare glimpse of the northern lights over the weekend, although I am hellbent on trying until the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Space Weather Prediction Center — a government entity that I am now aware exists — tells me I'm completely wasting my time.
