In a season defined by widespread injuries across the organization, the Diamondbacks absorbed another painful blow on June 15 when top shortstop prospect Jordan Lawlar strained his hamstring while legging out a triple.
It was just Lawlar's fourth Triple-A game of the year. He had already missed more than two months with a thumb injury.

Diamondbacks farm director Shaun Larkin initially estimated that Lawlar would miss 4-6 weeks with the hamstring injury, and he said over the weekend that Lawlar is still on track to return in that window. Expect to see Lawlar back in Triple-A some time between mid-July and early August.
