Diamondbacks prospect Yu-Min Lin still remembers watching his dad play professional baseball in Taiwan when he was two or three years old.
Lin's dad was an outfielder. He was a bit undersized at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds. That did not seem to stop him.
"He can still hit a lot of homers and run super fast," Lin said.
Lin's father is the reason that he started playing baseball. From a young age, he and his older brother would play catch with a miniature baseball during their dad's games. By high school, Lin developed into a dominant left-handed pitcher.
