On Jalen Green’s side, the Suns present him with a new context for a team construct that he fits more naturally into, and the opportunity that’ll be extended to play off a top-tier scorer, learn from someone who’s been through the present stage he’s at in his career, and a coach that’s going to have unique ways to challenge him in refinement of his game.

It’ll come with principles, but he should be able to be himself and play his game as a Sun. The runway extension should also greatly benefit him.

Leaning into his strengths, while insulating his weaknesses and improving decision-making, will greatly benefit his skill development and impact on the game.
He will also benefit greatly from pieces in place with the team, namely Jordan Ott and Devin Booker.
