Jack McBain’s ceiling with Coyotes may be higher than expected

The Coyotes have had a recent advantage when the IIHF World Championship rolls around. When nations assemble their rosters for that event, the player selection is often a matter of who's available.
This year's tournament was held from May 12 to May 28 in Finland and Latvia, with training camps starting a few days before. Those dates coincided with the tail end of the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, putting eight NHL teams' rosters off limits initially, and four for the duration of the tournament.
