Johnny's Day 2 NFL Mock Draft

Johnnys mock day 2

Marvin Harrison Jr. is an Arizona Cardinal, which means Monti Ossenfort is essentially playing with house money for the remainder of the 2024 NFL Draft. Darius Robinson at pick 27 fills an immediate need upfront, but questions persist over which position the ex-Missouri Tiger will fill in the desert (DE, DT).

Looking ahead to Day 2, outside of a trade down, another defender appears likely. I don’t know what’s happening with Jer’Zhan “Johnny” Newton but if his medicals aren’t an issue, he remains the obvious target.

Keep in mind, however, that the Arizona Cardinals spent extensive time with Cooper DeJean over the past 9+ months. There are league-wide concerns pertaining to whether or not DeJean can play outside but his positional versatility cannot be ignored. The Cardinals need a boast of athleticism within their CB room and DeJean would most certainly provide it.

Let’s get to it!
