When Kyler Murray completed a 44-yard touchdown run that gave the Arizona Cardinals a 14-9 lead early in the fourth quarter of Sunday's win against the Chargers, he knelt in the end zone to say a quick prayer.
There was more meaning behind that moment than anyone knew — meaning that coach Jonathan Gannon hinted at, but Murray keeps to himself.
