The Phoenix Mercury showed no quit Wednesday, climbing back from a 13-point second half deficit to earn a 91-89 win over the Golden State Valkyries.

With the win, the Mercury have won three straight to move to 11-18 on the season with 15 games remaining.

Phoenix’s come-from-behind efforts were paced by Kahleah Copper, who scored 13 of her 27 points in the game’s third frame before fouling out late in the fourth quarter.

It wasn’t just Copper, as Alyssa Thomas’ assertiveness on the offensive end resulted in 25 points to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists.
