

Phoenix Mercury legend Diana Taurasi has officially announced her retirement from the WNBA. The league’s all-time leading scorer and six-time Olympic gold medalist announced the end to her 20-year playing career in an exclusive interview with TIME. Taurasi hit more three-pointers than anyone in WNBA history and is fourth all-time in assists. She won a trio of WNBA championships (in 2007, 2009, and 2014) among a litany of career accomplishments.
