The Phoenix Suns came up short Tuesday, suffering a close 115-111 loss at the hands of the Orlando Magic.
Suns struggle in Dillon Brooks’ return, fall to Magic
The game marked Dillon Brooks’ first appearance in over a month, and he finished the game with nine points on 4-of-13 shooting in 22 minutes. It was also a rough outing for Jalen Green, who saw just 20 minutes of action and scored eight points on 3-of-10 shooting.
As for positives, Devin Booker scored a game-high 34 points, thanks in large part to his 16 makes from the charity stripe. It was not enough to keep up with the Magic’s balanced attack, as four players finished in double figures, led by Desmond Bane’s 21 points.
The loss ends Phoenix’s two-game winning streak and it falls to 42-34 on the season. It has a day off before returning to the floor Thursday to face the red-hot Charlotte Hornets.
