Suns defeat thunder in finale, to meet Blazers in play-in

Phoenix closes the season with 45 wins but, more importantly, can officially shift its focus forward to its Play-In Tournament date with the Portland Trail Blazers.

In Sunday’s win, Jamaree Bouyea scored a game-high 27 points, Ryan Dunn (20 points and 11 rebounds) and Khaman Maluach (18 points and 14 rebounds) turned in double-doubles and fans got a glimpse at the franchise’s future.

With eight players sitting out, the focus now shifts to the immediate future and a crucial Play-In Tournament matchup in Tuesday’s 7-8 game.

PHNX Suns postgame will get into the game that was and the season that was before looking ahead to the postseason. Follow the show: @PHNX_Suns, @ErikRuby, @GilMcGregor_, @StephenPG3 and @Espo!
