The NHL head coaching carousel never seems to stop. Since the start of the 2023-2024 season, there have been 12 head coaching changes, 13 including the Columbus Blue Jackets just before the start of the season. Just this month, Dan Bylsma, Craig Berube and Sheldon Keefe found themselves with new teams. Plus, Lindy Ruff, Travis Green and Scott Arniel filled vacant positions and Jim Hiller and Drew Bannister got their interim tags removed. Only one coaching vacancy remains with the San Jose Sharks.
