Weighing the Suns’ 3 options for Bradley Beal: Trade, waive-and-stretch or buyout

At this point, it's abundantly clear the Bradley Beal trade was a mistake for the Phoenix Suns. The thinking at the time was defensible, the Suns still stand by that thinking, and there was even optimism it could still pay dividends going into this season.
The skeptics rightly pointed out how Phoenix had been unceremoniously swept from the first round of the playoffs, but the numbers bore out that Beal, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker were effective on the court together. With a year of continuity, hopefully better health, and a new coach and improved supporting cast in tow, perhaps the Suns' vision would materialize in Year 2 of this "Big 3" era.
