The Phoenix Suns trailed by as many as 20 points but fought and clawed to take a one-point lead in the game’s final moments. The comeback effort came just short as a trivial finish led to the Los Angeles Lakers escaping with a two-point win.
Devin Booker found his footing in his first game back from injury, leading the Suns with 27 points while five others finished in double figures. For the Lakers, Luka Doncic scored a game-high 29 points and LeBron James scored 26, including two late go-ahead free throws.
The PHNX Suns crew will attempt to make sense of what happened late and where the team goes after dropping its second straight game. Follow us @PHNX_Suns, @ErikRuby, @GilMcGregor_, @StephenPG3 & @Espo!
